LRZ GitLab Community Edition (GitLab CE)

Welcome to the LRZ GitLab Community Edition server. This is a self-managed instance, reachable from the MWN network.

How can I use the LRZ GitLab CE?

You need a user ID from LRZ or one of the participating universities with GitLab access rights. Additionally you will need to be an employee of the university.

Please use the LDAP (User ID) tab, your user ID (e.g. "ab123xy") and your password to log in. Logging in with your email address is not supported.

If you are a member of TUM/LMU/HM/HSWT and don't know which user ID you can use for GitLab, please contact your user administration for help. You can also contact the LRZ Servicedesk.

LRZ GitLab vs. LRZ GitLab CE?

If your projects are education or research, please use the main LRZ GitLab instance.

This instance is for IT professional use, administrative use and other use cases not permitted by the Education License of the main LRZ GitLab.
